Rabo de Anho is a red grape found only in Basto, due to it needing long hot summers to mature. Rabo de Anho means ‘lamb tail’ as the grape bunches grow in long thin columns. It is a grape now rarely used but with a wine like this we can’t see why!

**Important Tips for Opening a Pét-Nat**

Pét-Nats with caps may appear cloudy with sediment but this is normal as they are unfiltered.

Before opening, remove from fridge and place on ice or in a freezer for 30 minutes - the colder the wine, the less it will fizz.

Then pry the cap off gradually in a circular motion & let the pressure fizzle out slowly.

Let the pressure escape until the bubbles permanently drop; Then you can remove & pour!
