Epordouro 'Portas do Solar' Colheita 2021 showcases the depth and sophistication of Douro Valley's finest red varieties in harmonious blend. This wine unites Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Sousão—three grapes that define the region's winemaking heritage and express its distinctive terroir. 

Touriga Nacional anchors the blend with its signature dark fruit intensity and structured tannins, while Touriga Franca contributes aromatic complexity and elegant mid-palate richness. Sousão adds textural nuance and spice-driven character, creating a wine of considerable layering and depth.

The 2021 vintage captures the Douro's characteristic power tempered by refined balance. On the palate, expect concentrated blackberry and plum notes interwoven with subtle spice, leather, and mineral undertones that reflect the valley's schist-based soils.

Epordouro is located in the wine region of Douro - the oldest demarcated wine region in the world & an UNESCO world heritage site since 2001 - and more specifically, the sub-region of Cima-Corgo in the town of Cabêda.

Started in 1998 by brothers Manuel Luís & Hermínio Morais, who wanted to continue the forgotten trade of their ancestors, and dedicate their family's life once again to the production of wine.

Portas do Solar means ‘doors of the manor’ & refers to a 15th century house that belonged to a noble family of vintners named ‘Dragos’, whose ruins are located in the town of Cabêda, the home of Epordouro.
