Brother winemakers, Jorge & Pedro Barroso, and their three cousins, began turning unfertile land in 2013 in to vineyards, and have certainly created something special out of nothing.

Winemaker Jorge, who usually only makes wines from Alvarinho, has stepped out of his comfort zone & decided to make a rosé, using the Basto grape, Padeiro, & we are so glad that he has!
