Situated in the innermost sub-region of Basto, husband & wife team, Cristiana & Alberto Carneiro, create beautifully designed wines & bottles, each with its own unique story, which they've turned into Carneiro Family Wines. 

Started in 2004, with neither having any background in wine-making, the Carneiros retrained & arenow both winegrowers, heart & soul, with Alberto in charge of the grapes and Cristiana the wine-maker.
