Ferro

Situated in the sub-region of Baião, & run by the Fonseca family, this mountainous winery specialises uniquely in sparkling wines, using the Baião-native grape, Avesso.

Founded in 1999, Quinta do Ferro was the first winery in the Vinho Verde, to be designed & built from scratch, to primarily produce sparkling wines.
