Epordouro is located in the wine region of Douro - the oldest demarcated wine region in the world & an UNESCO world heritage site since 2001 - and more specifically, the sub-region of Cima-Corgo in the town of Cabêda.

Started in 1998 by brothers Manuel Luís & Hermínio Morais, who wanted to continue the forgotten trade of their ancestors, and dedicate their family's life once again to the production of wine.

Solar dos Dragos means ‘Dragon Manor’ & refers to a 15th century house that belonged to a noble family of vintners named ‘Dragos’, whose ruins are located in the town of Cabêda, the home of Epordouro
